Who was Sophie Bryant?

Sophie Bryant (1850-1922): key player in reform of education, particularly for girls and women, in late 19th century, suffragist, Irish nationalist. It was as philosopher that she most identified: ‘Philosophy was so much a part of herself, of the very texture of her mind, and of the way she saw the world and life, that it is impossible to treat it as merely a part’.

An overview of her life and several aspects of her philosophical research.
