Jewish Mothers and Daughters:
A Film Archive
In 2006, THE HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND funded Pascal Theatre Company to produce a video archive of Jewish women’s experiences. Women of various ages, professions and of diverse backgrounds were interviewed for an exhibition that took place at London Jewish Cultural Centre’s Ivy House. This record has been made accessible to universities, schools, museums and community centres.
The filmed archive is now deposited with The Jewish Museum, The British Library, the Imperial War Museum, London Metropolitan Archives, The Women’s Library, The Jewish Museum, The Wiener Library – and, of course, our partner for this project,
London Jewish Cultural Centre.
